EOI for Kin Fashion Textile Workshops

Funded by Indigenous Languages and Arts Program and in Partnership with RMIT, Kinaway proudly presents the KinFashion Textile Workshops.

The purpose of the workshops is to develop knowledge and skills in textile art methods ultimately leading into fashion, homewares and various other applications.

Kinaway is calling on members who are interested in Fashion & Textiles and learning opportunities paired with tangible outcomes influencing future design concepts to apply for this unique opportunity.

About the Textile Discovery/Bush dye botanicals and fibre weaving (Traditional Practice) Workshops

Who?
Master weaver Aunty Clair Bates and Botanical Dye Specialist Cathy Williams will be facilitating the workshops.

 

When?
10am – 3pm Saturday November 26th Fibre Weaving AM | Bush Dye PM.
10am – 3pm Saturday December 3rd Bush Dye.

 

Where?
KinStudio – 12 Peel Street Collingwood.

Please note you will be required to attend both workshops. All materials, tools and teaching equipment will be supplied.
